Hi there!

I’m Ariel, your Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist and Reiki practitioner.

I fell in love with health when working as a beauty therapist in my early 20s.
I decided to study a Naturopathy degree in 2013, when I had to defer the following year.

Though I still did what I could to stay connected to the health industry. I began work as a Chinese Medicine practitioners assistant, where I completely fell in love with Chinese Medicine.
I vowed then that if I ever got the chance to return to health, it would be Chinese Medicine.

Several years passed and a handful of jobs later, I stepped into a new phase of life and I was determined to create the life I wanted to lead.

I enrolled in a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture degree at Endeavour College.
5 years later (and an additional Diploma in Remedial Massage - which I would never recommend to another to complete 2 courses at the same time), I completed my degree in December 2024.

My life is so much richer for it. I hold the valuable healing knowledge that is thousands of years old, I have made lifelong friends and my love for Chinese Medicine continues to grow every day.

With the addition of my Diploma of Remedial Massage and my Level 2 Reiki, I am able to treat my beautiful patients with multiple modalities.

I’ve been truly blessed to be a part of the Maia Mothers team where I can provide care and nourishment for some truly glorious people alongside some of the most passionate, kind, caring and intelligent practitioners I’ve ever met.
